We are getting ready to leave on our next adventure - a small ship (100 guests) that will cruise around most of Iceland.
The above picture show our stops, starting with the capital city, Reykjavik.
It feels weird, we have not traveled since 2019. International travel can be complicated but Covid-19 takes it to a whole new level. Ensuring that we have proof of vaccination and a negative Covid-19 test, plus scrutinizing the tour company to confirm that they have stringent Covid protocols has made for interesting trip planning.

FUN FACTS:
On the edge of the Arctic, between vast glaciers, vertiginous fjords, volcanoes and boiling geysers, Iceland offers a kaleidoscope of wild and romantic landscapes.
The population of Iceland is only 339,462, with more than a third of those people living in the capital city. Iceland is almost the size of Kentucky, which has 4.4 million residents.
Iceland is 7 hrs ahead of California.
$1 US + $124.72 ISK (Iceland Krona) This makes for some very fun math.
There are no mosquitos in Iceland - Sue is VERY happy about that : )
The following 2 links did work when we put them in here. Not sure if the volcano ate the livecam.
I am not sure if we should be concerned that our ship is no longer there : )
We will be hiking an active volcano on 8/27 - here is a live webcam:
